Greetings SW AAPM Members, RM AAPM Members,

and Medical Physicists in our regions:

The Fall Meeting will be a joint meeting for the Rocky Mountain and Southwest AAPM Chapters. It will be held October 23-25 at the Tamaya Spa & Resort in Santa Ana Pueblo, New Mexico. An opening reception will be held on the evening of Thursday, October 23rd. The first meeting day, October 24^th, will include a session on the advances in imaging, a session over the advances in Radiobiological Based Decision Making in Radiotherapy Treatment Planning, and a professional symposium. The second day of our program will be focusing on imaging in radiotherapy with a range of imaging techniques and how they are used in radiation treatment. We will have a young investigators symposium enabling us to meet the new faces of our field and help keep us current on research and topics.

Here is some information about shuttle service from the airport to the resort:

Schedule: Every hour on the hour (airport to hotel and back) with reservations made 2 hours in advance of arrival or pickup time.

Price: $40 for first person and $10 each additional person per trip. They cannot break up the payment, so one person will have to pick up the bill.

The travel time from the airport to the resort is approximately 25-30 minutes depending on traffic.
