Medical Physics has an amazing capacity for improving the standard of care for cancer patients through the application of scientific knowledge and advanced technology. Having personal experience in clinics, academia and industry, I think it is important to raise awareness about emerging technologies and techniques as well as foster collaborations and a sense of community amongst northern California Medical Physicists.
