Presenting: AAPM President-Elect  Gary Ezzell from the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, AZ.  Gary has served as IMRT Task Group Chair, Scientific Program Chair, Strategic Planning, Member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors, ABR examiner and is active with Physics Residency training programs.

New meeting venue - Drake's Landing - right off the Ohio Turnpike even closer to the Penn-Ohio state line.   Delightful setting on a lake with seaplane and mallard watching.

2008 Fall Symposium

Registration begins Friday 12:00 noon and continues and during program breaks. Talks from 1:00 to ~5:00 on various topics in Medical Physics presented by local physicists. Saturday morning's invited-speaker session is entitled "Systems Not Yet in (North American) Clinics" followed by a lunch/panel discussion. Target Audience: Medical Physicists - This Symposium is an effort to educate Medical Physicists on current topics of interest in the field.

Objectives: Provide a forum for local AAPM members to present their research and clinical work and provide an opportunity for looking over the horizon to learn about systems not yet in North American clinics.
