2017 Fall Symposium

The Fall Symposium events will be held on Friday & Saturday, November 3-4, 2017 at the Hilton Garden Inn Indianapolis Airport in Indianapolis, IN (details at the end of the page).

A Meet & Greet event will take place on Friday, November 3, 2017 from 5:00-10:00 pm, followed by a night-out event. The event will include Moderated Poster Sessions. Attendees, spouses, and exhibitors are all welcome at the reception, as it is primarily a social event. The symposium will take place Saturday, November 4. Exhibitor setup will begin at 7:00 am, and the program of talks will run from 8:00 am to about 4:00 pm.

Learning objectives for attendees:

2 MPCEC credits have been Approved by CAMPEP for the poster viewing and 6 MPCEC credits have been Approved by CAMPEP for the Conference on Saturday.
6 Presentations have been Qualified by the American Board of Radiology in meeting the criteria for self-assessment toward the purpose of fulfilling requirements in the ABR Maintentence of Certification Program.



We ask that attendees register for these events in advance by going to our Chapter website and paying through the PayPal option so that we can produce a name badge for you as well as monitor attendance.
There is a $10 discount for online early registration for members who register prior to November 1. Online and on-site registration after November 1 will be $35 for members.
The Saturday symposium will include a breakfast, snacks, and lunch. All attendees must pay a one-time registration fee, which covers both Meet & Greet and Symposium. The fee schedule is as follows:

SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS for POSTER PRESENTATIONS

Our poster presentation format is a good way to “float” your publication ideas! Posters will be presented at the Friday night meet and greet per tradition and will be up for viewing during the Saturday program.

Anyone may submit abstracts for poster presentations. Those of you who interact with students, please forward this webiste and encourage students to submit. Even undergraduate students are welcome. PDFs of the documents should be sent to me at Wei.Luo@uky.edu. Please also include a copy of your CV with your abstract for the purposes of CAMPEP credit.

There are rooms blocked at the Hilton Garden Inn Indianapolis Airport for accommodations. Contact the Hotel directly to make reservations by calling (317) 856-9100 and be sure to tell them you are with the AAPM Group Code.
