  The NCCAAPM Spring meeting was held on Friday, April 24th, 2009 at Best Western Trail Lodge Hotel & Suites, Eau Claire, WI.

  Objectives
  
  • To become familiar with the professional issues facing with medical physicists through the lectures given by leading authorities, which include the president-elect of AAPM and the CAMPEP residency program review committee chair.
    
    
  • Review the technical issues on dosimetry standards and physics involvement in the implementation of an electronic medical recording system.
  • Become familiar with newer treatment options for the lung and liver.
    
    
  • To become acquainted with the research being performed by members of our chapters and gain knowledge useful for their work. Including dosimetry of MammoSite treatments, radiation-chemotherapy synergy, new brachytherapy seed dosimetry, and artifact reduction in helical CT.
    
    
  The chapter meetings are wholly supported by the member/vendor annual dues and meeting registration fees.
