Welcome to the web page of the North Central Chapter of the AAPM.
Our membership includes the states of Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota,
and South Dakota. This region consists of several world renowned
institutions with highly active academic and clinical programs, numerous
smaller institutions, and several medical device manufacturers
relevant to the field of medical physics.
The NCCAAPM chapter meets twice a year; once during Spring and once
during Fall. These meetings consist of scientific presentations, a business
meeting, student presentations, and many vendors show their wares.
We welcome members from this region and others to participate in
these informative and interesting events. Please browse the website and

The 2008 NCCAAPM Fall meeting will be held on Friday,
October 24th, 2008 at Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, WI.
We are seeking potential speakers, who can give a 15-30 minutes
presentation on any issue in Medical Physics (research, professional, or
educational). Additionally we need talks by graduate (or undergraduate)
students for the Young Investigator Presentation session. The first,
second, and third winners will receive monetary rewards. We recommend
academic advisors to encourage your graduate/or undergraduate students to
present their work. It is an excellent opportunity for students to polish
up their presentation skill and the research contents. If you are
interested in giving your paper at this coming chapter meeting, please send
your topic and the abstract/or brief summary to me via e-mail.
Attendees will receive CAMPEP credits. So, please consider attending this
conference. More detailed information on the meeting will be provided on
the AAPM NCCAAPM chapter web site as well as individual e-mail in near
future. I am looking forward to seeing you all in Milwaukee.
