Error Prevention in Interventional Radiology Quiz (must complete for SAM credit)

 

Learning objectives:

At the conclusion of this educational activity, the participant should be able to:

1. Understand medical error prevention in diagnostic radiology

2. Identify various radiology errors

3. Define radiation sentinel events

4. Define steps to prevent errors from occurring

5. Discuss NCRP Report No. 168: Management of dose for fluoroscopically-guided interventional procedures

 

Instructions:

1. Download and print out the SAM Question form.

2. Listen to the MP3 file of the talk while viewing the PDF file of the talk’s slides. 

3. Answer the SAM questions at the appropriate times in the talk.  Pause your MP3 player as needed to give yourself time to complete the questions, because the speaker will give you the answers and explain the answers after a brief pause.

4. Complete the online quiz & hit submit. This will send your completed SAM question sheet to the FLAAPM CE Coordinator.  You may ONLY use Internet Explorer for this task.

5. Pay online with PayPal.

Note: After the FLAAPM CE Coordinator receives your completed question sheet and payment for the SAM ($50), your question sheet will be graded, and the answer key sent to you via email along with your SAM certificate.
